The DenizBank 3rd IAAF Izmir Art Fair, main-sponsored by DenizBank with the goal of expanding the accessibility of culture and arts for everyone, is preparing to meet art enthusiasts at Fuar Izmir between May 13–17, 2026.
At the fair, where 120 galleries from Turkey and abroad, nearly 1,600 artists, and approximately 30,000 art lovers and collectors will come together; a wide selection of works consisting of different disciplines such as painting, sculpture, relief, and glass art will meet with visitors.
A strong platform for young artists
Within the scope of the fair, the "Artists of the Future Program" is being implemented for the first time this year in order to support young people between the ages of 18–26 in making a strong start in the culture and arts ecosystem.
Under the program, 100 young artists to be selected by a jury evaluation will have the opportunity to exhibit their works at the fairground. The program, which has an application deadline of April 17, 2026, is planned to continue for the next three years in integration with the IAAF organizations held in Istanbul and Izmir.
The fair also hosts seminars focused on art and design. In the events to be organized with the participation of expert speakers; interior architecture, spatial design, art production, and interdisciplinary approaches will be discussed.
“We aim for a stronger international impact”
Sebahattin Aslan, Chairman of the Board of Demos Fairs, said the following in his assessment of the subject: “The DenizBank 3rd IAAF Izmir Art Fair is a powerful platform that establishes a direct bond between artists and collectors and encourages production. Increasing international participation and expanding our sphere of influence is also among our goals. Last year, we brought together 70 galleries, 1,500 artists, and over 5,000 works with art lovers. This interest clearly revealed Izmir's potential in the field of art. On the other hand, we will continue the Artists of the Future Program, which we launched for the first time this year, as a continuous structure focused on discovering young talents, integrated with the Istanbul leg for the next three years. We believe that this program will also make a meaningful contribution to the career journey of new artists. We are very pleased that DenizBank has carried its valuable support, which they gave to our organization held in Istanbul last December where we brought together nearly 10,000 works from different disciplines with art lovers, to the Izmir edition; and we thank them for their contribution to culture and art.”
